Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Handle change requests, access requests, and security incidents and ensure follow-up.
  • Ensure the proper functioning and reliability of the following SASE security tools:
    • Zscaler Secure Internet Access
    • Zscaler Cloud Connector
    • Zscaler Workload Secure Internet Access
    • Zscaler Client Connector
    • Zscaler Web DLP
    • Zscaler Cloud Sandbox
  • Oversee the technical evolution and deployment of Zscaler.
  • Perform operational tasks related to all components in the Azure cloud environment according to RACI, including:
    • Management and operations of the Azure environment
    • Securing workloads with Zscaler
    • RBAC access management
    • Network ACLs management
    • Governance of Management Groups and Resource Groups
  • Manage identity and access, including:
    • Creation, modification, and deletion in Entra ID
    • Synchronization with Active Directory (AD)
    • Access management (membership, roles, high-privilege accounts, etc.)
    • Application approvals (Service Principal, Managed Identities)
    • Policy creation
    • Emergency account management
    • PIM (Privileged Identity Management) management
    • Identity and Azure security management
  • Perform monitoring, alerts, and log redirection (SIEM).
  • Conduct vulnerability scans.
  • Manage EDR/Antivirus (Defender for Endpoint).
  • Monitor security events in systems and equipment.
  • Proactively resolve security issues, anticipate risks, and implement required solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of new processes and practices.
  • Provide technical security assistance to the Commission.
  • Analyze and understand the Commission's information security needs.
  • Stay informed on IT security and report any threats related to system security.
  • Perform periodic security assessments to ensure that applications, systems, and equipment are not vulnerable.
  • Implement or assist in implementing controls, methods, tools, and security measures.

Requirements

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field of expertise.
  • Raise awareness and provide IT security training to Commission employees.
  • Participate in any project or activity requiring their expertise.
  • Draft or contribute to the writing of various documents and reports.
  • Prepare and/or participate in different types of meetings (e.g., team meetings, coordination meetings, working committees, workshops, etc.).

Key Competencies

  • Contribute to process improvement while maintaining up-to-date and adequate documentation.
  • Support business intelligence efforts within the team and Directorate (e.g., suggest improvement opportunities, new techniques).
  • Train new security analysts on tasks.
