Job Description

As a Cloud Platform Ops Specialist, you will configure, administer, and evolve cloud services to meet the needs of our client in the banking sector. Your role involves analyzing issues or situations related to deployments, deliveries, quality control, and assurance. You will support senior professionals in your unit and contribute to developing recommendations and implementation plans in line with established practices in your discipline.

As part of its digital strategy, our client is undergoing a transformation in development practices, with your team responsible for supporting and maintaining a cloud platform and its services. This includes an application platform (aPaaS) leveraging VMware Tanzu Application Service powered by Cloud Foundry (Tanzu by Broadcom) and managed services on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute user requests for integrating applications into the cloud.
  • Apply defined methods and workflows to support and enhance the platform and services.
  • Ensure all changes in ServiceNow (ITSM) are properly logged, approved, and documented before performing interventions.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of operational procedures.
  • Participate in defining objectives, solutions, action plans, and their implementation.
  • Analyze information, conduct diagnostics, provide recommendations, and draft relevant documentation.
  • Collaborate on program increment planning within your area of expertise.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in operating cloud technology platforms.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Language: Fluency in French (spoken and written).

Technical Expertise

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
  • Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps concepts (Gitflow, CI/CD).
  • Knowledge of Linux systems and scripting tools (Bash, Shell, Python).
  • Familiarity with Git, Concourse, Terraform, Vault, and Docker.
  • Knowledge of ITSM processes (incident and change management).
  • Agile methodology proficiency.

  • Availability for 24/7 rotational support.
  • Ability to manage complexity, master technology, and effectively plan and coordinate.
